I thoroughly enjoyed this, even if it does employ, and enjoy, some stereotypes. It's clever, difficult, weird, worth thinking about. The dialogue is spare, the interactions interesting, moral questions are posed, and debated. I enjoy that…

With an extraordinary flair for code breaking and razor-sharp intelligence skills, four seemingly ordinary women become the unlikely investigators of a string of grisly murders against the backdrop of post-war London. Well-acted, nicely…

Not keen on this series. Got tired of Anna pretty quickly - all that pent-up frustration. The hair and costumes lacked pizzazz regardless of the tenor of the times. I did enjoy the sets though. I prefer Kate Quinn's take on the Bletchley…

I thought the theme was a bit too familiar: women's two cents dismissed, domestic violence, women's friendships, but it had a new twist to it. It wasn't Nancy Drew, but Nancy Drew times four. I'm not a big fan of the super sleuths, never…

This season has 2 2-episode stories rather than 1 3-episode like season 1. The second episode of this season was for sure better than episode 1 of season 2 however neither was as good as season 1. For some reason, this series lost its'…

Cracking a Killer's Code (Seasion One): Excellent! The series addressed two issues that we continue to deal with today, first, that some returning, highly trained military personnel (WWII here, in our lives now, endless war) continue to…

An enjoyable post war mystery solved by ignored but talented and ambitious women. The social attitudes towards women of the time is well represented.

Too many dark scenes. Rapist on the train did not look like the killer at the end? Interesting how they found killer's hideout.

Season 1--I was familiar with the SOE and code girls after having read a couple of historical accounts about them --each book several hundred pages worth. I found this series to be quite interesting and surprisingly so did my husband. Also…

PBS's series are good. This one was quite up to par. The women who worked at Bletchley were very intelligent. This wasn't shown very well. It was only mildly suspenseful but was a good watch. Would recommend it to anyone.

Very good film. There are effective women; just very few, so hard to find. Too many like Merkel the jerkel.

Loved the first two programs of the series, however without Anna Maxwell Martin the plots definitely thinned. Can't see much future in this series unfortunately.

I liked this season much better than the first season. More exciting and action in the storyline. Wonderful show; I enjoyed it!

Interesting show about how code breaking was used to solve the mystery of local women being murdered by a serial killer. It was slow at times for the storyline, thus the reason for a 3 star rating. Update: I just saw the second season and…

Subtitles are a good size, white with no background . Love it! British have definately got the right concept in using people who are not 'drop-dead gorgeous', just normal everyday women, men & children. Love the way each women…

A team of women decided to look into a series of murders using their complimentary skills: eidetic memory, pattern recognition, intelligence gathering and outside-the-box thinking. Relative to other female sleuth genre from European TV,…

Really enjoyed 4 women who were code breakers during WWII in England get together many years later to solve a mystery using their code skills. Didn't suffer a dull moment watching this episode.

This was a very interesting series as it brought together a disparit team from World War II about 5 to 7 years later. Good mix of suspensful episodes and appreciated having Closed Captioning. Showed a little of what it was like in…

I watch and enjoy a lot of the BBC series. Never heard of ts before I picked it up. Was so engrossed, watched series 1 in one sitting and have ordered series 2. Great story and great acting held my attention through the entire thing.

The Bletchley Circle continues to amaze us with riveting stories and great performances by an a predominantly-female cast. Bravo!
