I’ve been reading the Christie books in the order they were written. This is the first one that I’ve truly loved. Great plot with interesting dialogue. None of the silly dialogue that irritated me in some of the other books. No constant babbling by Hastings that drives me to distraction. I admit to having some problems keeping all of the characters straight. I was forced to take notes, but the book is well worth the trouble.

Another great mystery. This one is more light-hearted. Often reads more like a play. The ending surprised me when I thought I'd figured it out. Lots of details to follow. A quick read and worth the time.

Excellent Agatha Christie. Features Superintendent Battle as the crime solver.

I found this a bit hard to follow. So many characters in it. It had a good surprising ending though.

Re Superindent Battles

Either that man's sincere or he's the best bluffer I've ever seen. And if the former, God help Prince Michael's murderer when that human blood hound gets hold of him.
