Not my favorite Harry Potter movie but it's the first and it's still super good. Anyone should watch this if they love Harry Potter.
Also if you don't love Harry Potter than that is just wrong. Sorry but it's true ;)

The first movie is really good but the book is a bit better but I still loved it so much. But the actors look more like ten or nine then eleven but that's fine because the movie is so good
I loved it soooooo much.

I recently went back and did a full Harry Potter movie marathon, and this one was the hardest to watch. Honestly, it's the books that bring you in. A part of me now gets why if the movie is the first thing you saw - you'd be like what is with this Harry Potter obsession - like why? The acting in this is stilted, especially from the young ones (though almost all of them grew up to be great thespians of acting outside this realm). So, after being honest about that aspect of the movie - I can just express how nostalgia really is what gets you through. If you're a Harry Potter fan - you love this - not because it's great but because honestly you just love that it even began.
