Interesting, captivating and lots of intrigue. and unexpected twists. I liked it very much and will read more of Mary Jo Putney

I read these books out of order and much prefered the 2nd and 3rd novel to this one, but this was still enjoyable and explained a lot about the characters in the following 2 novels. Great series and can't wait for the 4th book!!
