CoralineDVD - 2009
"It pulls audiences into a meticulously detailed universe, familiar in many respects, wacked and menacing in many others."--Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune.
"'Coraline' lingers in an atmosphere that is creepy, wonderfully strange and full of feeling."--New York Times.
A young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. This parallel reality is eerily similar to her own life, only much better. When the adventure turns dangerous, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home and save her family.

When Coraline moves to an old house, she feels bored and neglected by her parents. She finds a hidden door with a bricked up passage. During the night, she crosses the passage and finds a parallel world where everybody has buttons instead of eyes, with caring parents and all her dreams coming true. When the Other Mother invites Coraline to stay in her world forever, the girl refuses and finds that the alternate reality where she is trapped is only a trick to lure her.
