Why can't we all be a bit more like Barbara Stanwyck? In this film, her character has accumulated a massive cattle ranch, a white stallion, and, yes, 40 guns, eventually including sexy-pants marshall Barry Sullivan. The end is a drag, but overall, pro-feminist, anti-violence, and pleasantly loopy.
