All's quiet in the small town of Holliswood, the television sets a-glow in every home. But not all is as perfect as it seems.

A terrifying outlaw has just arrived in town, with the goal of throwing it into chaos--and filming the pandemonium for the fellas back home.

Only one person can stop him and his thugs from destroying the city and everyone living there. Daniel X assembles an all-star team of his own creation, but not even he could imagine the enormity of this made-for-TV-villain's powers.

A Sci Fi James Patterson story...definitely a YA book but still fun. Short chapters and good plot and wanting to know what happens next...typical Patterson. Also good build into his next book.

Watch the Skies is the second instalment in the Daniel X series. The series follows Daniel X an alien hunter, whose sworn duty is to protect Earth by hunting down the most dangerous aliens on the planet. In Watch the Skies, Daniel faces of with the fifth most dangerous alien outlaw on the planet, a reality show producer whose show features humans being humiliated, tortured, and killed. Daniel has to take down Number Five before the planet becomes part of the gravest show on Earth. I found this book to be better than the first book in the series. The dialogue is still meant for a younger audience and the entire book is a little short, but the book is still written well and I found it to be entertaining. The characters are interesting, especially Daniel and Number Five. This is a great sequel to a fun sci-fi action series. 4/5 Stars - @Fulton of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

It's about a guy called Daniel.
He has to save the world from an evil fish-computer thing, who is also #5 in The List of Alien Outlaws. The bad guy is slaughtering people for entertainment, and also feeding the human women caviar to make them pregnant with his own "children."
