I guess I found this funny way back when but now, not so much. It had a great premise to be an amusing and well rounded movie with various subplots but when it had to resort to slapstick, a tank rolling through a paint factory, well, that's just a little too low brow for me. Good cast but somebody got lazy halfway through and downhill it went.

Really funny actors, funny scenes but way too much going on in the movie.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

After Jaws, this is Spielberg's finest film. Long after everyone has forgotten about all the noble, Oscar-cadging trash Spielberg has made, we'll still be fondly chortling over this unpretentious delight.
