Love just as much as the first book maybe even more since more complex forms of poetry were presented. I tagged even more pages to reference as a teaching tool in my poetry unit. The word choice, figurative language, and imagery in the poems is phenomenal and would likely inspire young readers to craft hopefully equally clever poetry.

Like Father Like(8) polymers and nucleotides know each other
Cute (17) truly poetic account of appreciating your mate more because others fancy them
Held Hostage by Hiawatha (20) besides the amazing title-explores the meter HWL used
River Haiku (61) the format shaped as a river - allow students to modify for self-selected topic
Small Problem (72) have students write a poem of address to their report cards
Twas the Night Before Geography (77) have students write a poem to about a school subject
I Have to Hand it to Her (80) format for sestina as a challenge for students see 84-85
Transylvanian Limericks (96) too cute to compose multiple poems in same form and topic
Advice from Jekyll to Hyde: A Villanelle (121) Amazing example of this form
Raven on Toast (128) great parody poem
Intrigue at the Multiplex (138) great line "buried in the dark of me"
Blue Ghazal (141) cool form of poetry to attempt
Pass the Dramamine (145) best metaphor "she was maple syrup and he was a pancake"
A.M. Tanka (169) great example of the cousin to the haiku
