I am always skeptical when an author has a background in something other than the subject they are writing about when it comes to self-help books. Dr. Rao has a Ph.D in marketing, which would explain why I didn't find his book very helpful. There are some parts that I thought were thought-provoking, such as when he covers "self-management" instead of "time-management". It may be helpful to some, but I thought it was just average.
