A kindred spirit. Alcoholics often turn to God though we have never seen him because most of us have seen the other guy. A great read.

Unfortunately, it was a senseless fiction about a few murders and the encounters between an Irish PI Jack Taylorand the devil. Whatever suspense or thrill the author tried to convey became moot with all is possible when the author stuck the all powerful "Satan" into the book.

A disappointing Bruen effort.

It reads a bit like Kinky Friedman. A fast read for sure, but... I'm not sure about this devil chasing. My first Taylor book, so I'll give it another chance. I liked Bruen's "The White Trilogy" way better. Brant was more, what's the word... caustic.
