Although the publishing date says 2010, it is very dated. Still, I got some great info out of this book. I have already drafted a new contract and am thinking about forming a "for me" business plan. It wasn't a dry read like I expected it to be as I relate very well with the author. I imagine you will too, that is, if you've been working as a freelance designer for any amount of time prior. At times it was even comical. I especially liked how he helps you get over the fear of letting customers feel uncomfortable (while making the decision to hire you) and the fear of people thinking you're asking too much money. Also! How you have to get over the fear of ruining a great meeting with a contract. Included was an assessment test for you to take to see where your strengths and weaknesses are and suggestions to improve in those areas. (Like I need assertiveness courses - HA!) <-true... I suggest this to any freelancer out there! Goodluck!
