I was only a few pages into the book when I started having flashbacks from James's previous books. The characters keep doing the same thing although nothing good has come out of it in the past and James continues to write with a color-by-numbers feel to it
As good as Patterson's best sellers featuring Alex Cross. It's better in details on criminal behavior, but not as crisp because of too much details of such. Love the author's chess axiom of the bishop - the only piece that stays on it's own color on the board. Good read.
