A great read even with some little faults, such as the switch from broken English to perfect command of it by the heroin.

Tearing through all John Lawton's books right now. Excellent reads. I came at them from an historical perspective - after reading David Kynaston's "Family Britain" and have stayed for the detective thriller aspects.
