Juvenile at best.

There were parts that were funny but I have to admit, I was falling asleep . It was hard to keep up with this movie because it was going in too many directions, and Adam Sandler's dronelike personality? It may work in some occasions but in others, no thanks. I don't recommend it, but if you like the insanity of these characters, then more power to you.

Grown Ups was such a hilarious movie that made me laugh for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Lenny Fader realizes that just because he has a rich fancy Hollywood lifestyle doesn’t mean he cant go back and revisit his old roots, friends and shenanigans. Spending his weekend with all his old friends and kids in a lake house changes his whole perspective on everything. The kids bond over telephone cups, water parks, skipping rocks and July 4th weekend. I watched this movie with my friends and little brother and we all loved it so much. It left us making jokes for days and days after. Some of the language and content was inappropriate but kept an appropriate humour. Kevin James, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider are all such amazing actors and made this movie so complete. Throughout the movie these actors let go of there "Grown Up" side, let lose and showed their kids how to have fun the old way. It was all so cleverly put together and never had one dull or boring moment. After watching this movie I felt so full of laughter and joy. This movie has so many relatable moments. As a teen most of my time is spent indoors on the computer or on my phone but grown ups showed me that the most fun is spent outside with family and friends. I can safely say that I will probably never get tired of watching this movie. So if you are looking for a fun easy laugh with friends or family then Grown Ups is the movie to watch.

Better than I thought it would be, but still glad I didn't pay to see this movie.

Unless you are killing time in the hospital after some procedure and don't have all of your mental faculties, avoid this movie. Terrible.

Creates a world populated by people who look real but who don't behave like any person you've ever seen. That's fine in absurdist comedy such as "Hot Rod", but makes this unwatchable. Just moves from one bit to the next with no resolutions, no consequences, no call-backs, and no humor.

Very Funny-however, had to turn it off about 3/4 into the movie it truly is a PG 13 movie with many sexual remarks/comments/looks and it got to be too much.

exactly what you would expect. Funny and worth the time.

I'd have to say that this WOULD be the best movie ever even if I never watched it. The trailer is funny.

I watched Grownups and it is comedy movie. It is jam packed with all the comedy superstars including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. It is about this group of guys, who win a basketball championship in their childhood, then they meet 30 years later and they reunite. Plus they are all married. They go to this Water Park and act like children and they enjoy their adult lives. And they bring their families along.

"Hey Fader, looks like you gained a few pounds."
"From when I was 8 years old? I would say so."
"You know, that game had a couple of bad calls."
"What game..... oh, you mean from when we were kids? You gotta be kiddin' me..."
"I want a rematch. I dare ya'."
"Hey look. My boys aren't in that great shape. I could see maybe having a 'getting-off-the-sofa contest'..."
"Anytime. Anywhere."
"It was a joke."

Marcus: Hey Lenny, remember when we used to come here in high school after we got wasted?

Lenny: Shh.

Donna: What's wasted?

Lenny: Uh, wasted, kids, is.. Something.. That.. Happens.. When you have a hankering for ice cream.

Andre: Oh, I want to get wasted.

Charlotte: I want to get totally wasted.

Donna: I want to get wasted every single day of my life.

Becky: I want to get chocolate wasted.

Roxanne: No you don't need to get wasted, it's ok.
