I love the Tron series, so I was very excited to discover this graphic novel on Hoopla, which is set in between the original Tron film and the sequel, Tron: Legacy. The only major complaint I have is that it ended rather abruptly, with many questions still left unanswered. But before that abrupt end it was a really interesting look at Flynn trying to balance what he created in the digital world with his company and his family in the real world. And his digital creations are looking for more from their 'creator', in particular Flynn's counterpart Clu. It'll all come to a head, setting things up for Legacy.
it so cool the tron book...
I am a huge fan of the movie. This book explained some things, but did not do the movie justice.
There's definitely room for a story to be told that exists between the two movies. This story felt much more like Disney thinking "hey, there's a money opportunity here..." than "let's tell that story."
No real complaints about it (it was ... alright ... ) but certainly nothing wow'ed me, nor did I finish and feel like any of unanswered questions between the movies were addressed.
This book sucks!
