Been reading this series for a long time. Love the characters. The Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency is run by Savanah Reid, a beautiful plus sized former cop. One of the issues in this book is domestic violence. Although it's a difficult topic to read about, the ending ties up loose ends really well and there's a satisfying resolution between two of the main characters. (no spoiler alert here!)

I have read the whole series and it is fantastic. Looking forward to the latest one as the last one did make me cry out loud.

An emotional read, hitting some hard topics that will make you choke or tear up a bit. This is the first Savannah Reid book I've read, and I would not hesitate to pick up another one in the future. If you have been following Savannah from the beginning, make sure to read this latest addition to the series. You will cry and you will rejoice along with the characters. The story was quite good, I didn't mind too much that there were no recipes ;P
