Mercedes Lackey has thrown another wonderful 500 Kingdoms book at us. Though not one of my favorites in the series, it's still a great read!

The most enjoyable thing about this novel is Ivan's interactions with various other characters and the thought process he employs to solve his problems. There is a surprise ending which is cute but not stunning.
