Since my introduction to varied and wonderful world of historical romance, 2 years ago. I have read many books, never going places without one in my hand or on my person. Some have been stories to make you laugh and cry, to make you cheer and pray, to make you bark out laughter at a character's cleverness, and un fortunately some have made me mad with disappointment. Leading me in with a promise of an intriguing story and character's with promising potential, but this book....... HAS DELIVERED!!!!!! I love the character development but she doesn't dwell on the tragedy of our Rose's past or get's side tracked with the intriguing side characters she stay's on track and gave me one of the best experiences EVER!!!!! this book, the love, the adventure, the strength of both heroin and hero; which he most certainly is, the joy it brought me and the tears all granting me one of the greatest emotional experiences over a story, as I said before, ever. If your looking for a moving well written story with great depth and great characters please read this book I beg of you!!!! It is worth it! I'm even buying it so that I may read it again whenever I desire, and boy do I desire.
