If you ever feel like getting geeky about Art History, specifically Michaelangelo, this is the perfect novel. I read this at age 13, so don't be intimidated. Despite it's thickness, the story is entertaining and dramatic enough, the historical context is immersive and feels real. It's a surprisingly vivid way to connect emotionally with history and art. Just remember it's technically a Biographical Fiction.
