I loved, loved, loved this story! Two sisters decide to make a wedding dress for their younger sister, and they decide she will be married in the Spring, even though there is no fiancé and the war has taken most of the young men, incuding their husbands. Every now and then, ghost soldiers will march past, but this is not sad. The story weaves around their lives and the wedding dress, until Spring. Really, really worth reading! It is also historically accurate.
I enjoyed this charming romance for its historic details and positive message. Better than I expected.
