I loved this book so much I could read it again. Its words are gripping, and its also has a great hero to write it. Thanks for your service Mr Owen.

No Easy Day is a well written book that shows how Mark Owen, or Matt Bissonette, participated in Neptune Spear and helped kill Usama Bin Laden. "The Raid" takes up the second half of the book, complete with detailed maps and graphics, showing how NSWDG successful overcame adversity to bag Bin Laden. Chief Owen's account of the raid was, and still is, a vital part of the historical record. Owen also goes over some highlights from his career in Devgru, participating in high-profile missions, as well as, predictably, lambasting ROEs and Brass who made such decisions. Owen provides a valuable insight into the mind of these modern day warriors, as well as his own personnel motivations, proving that not all soldier's hate war. This book is best appreciated by military buffs, but is written so anyone can gain an understanding of the raid and Devgru. Owen's account of the raid is disputed by the Feds, who have a different story for the final seconds of Bin Laden's life, but Owen has proven himself meticulously accurate in the many other stories in this book, you be the judge! Read it, you won't regret it

I enjoyed this book. It was more about how the Seals trained to get to Bin Laden then the entire mission. Shows how these brave men do all the "wet work" and the politicians take the credit. Too bad we can't have a ticker tape parade for these guys.
