Easy quick read. I found it enjoyable as I wasn't expecting any details or specifics. A reminder of how great our military men and women are.

NO new news/info here.

I've read several books re the training of SEALs or SEAL Team Six, so there really wasn't anything new here.

I have read next to nothing re the taking down of OBL, so am a bit perplexed why I didn't learn more...how it went down seems to be how I thought it went down.

The author doesn't like Democratic presidents, and whenever referring to any of them, just uses their last name.

The author seems to have a big ego...and his [paraphrasing] "If Obama can tell information about the take down, so can I" thinking is exactly what has gotten him into trouble. Even I know that he'd have to get his book vetted before being published.

Oh, and after listening to this book, I suddenly want Taco Bell, and then to take 2 Ambiens [sp?].

Great book. The book goes behind the scenes to talk about the training and lead up to the raid. Great stories in here. Regardless who fired the fatal shots everyone on this team are American Heroes. The men who risked the most should be able to write about it. The author also goes in great detail to credit the men and women who were never credited nationally (pilots and CIA agents).

The first hand narratives of the lead up to the operation, the raid and its aftermath were reasonably interesting but everything else about ths book was forgettable at best. The constant self-congratulation of the SEAL members was annoying.

I have great admiration and respect for Navy seals team six. Life as a Navy seal is a great sacrifice and love of the US.
