A fascinating insight into situations and pressures faced by a president. As a historian, Ted Widmer helps the reader navigate by providing a context for each of the selections. While the book is written in chronological order, one can easily move back and forth within the text. For those who are interested, 2.5 hour of audio from inside the Oval Office is included.

Great book. I read all books of The Kennedys...and this was another favourite!
