At the beginning, it was slow, but then it picked up and got super exciting. This book is a must read if you want to read the second book "Outrage". (The second book is A W E S O M E)
Amazing, the plot begins almost at the beginning immediately catching the eye of a reader who's beginning to close the book. After reading this book if someone said animal rights my mind will flash to this book.
The book seems eye catching to me, this book will definitely please me. I like the genre of the book.
AWESOME!!! I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
I also loved this novel by John Camp (who writes under the name John Sandford). His wife, Michele Cook, who is also a journalist & screen-writer, are writing the Singular Menace trilogy together.
I can't wait for Book 2 of this series that is due for publication in 2015.
This is a great read for young and old. Like a previous reviewer, I didn't realize it was categorized as teen fiction until I finished.
I gotta say - - this is the best fiction from Sandford(s) I've ever read, and I've read all of his books! Sandford, and Michele Cook, are back in top form! Everything gels, reality put to fiction. Didn't realize that it was a Young Adult category until I'd finished it. Beats out most fiction today. [In present times of DAFOH, or Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, weaponized Avia Flu, and multinational biopharmaceutical-owned facilities in totalitarian countries, this fiction is really not that far removed.] Also, ignore the Publishers Weekly critique, somewhat wrong.
Featuring animal rights, art activism, and homeless teens, this fast read would make a perfect beach read for an action/adventure fan.
