A little boy named Eddie loses his stuffed bear and goes to look for it in the woods. He comes across a really big bear and can’t figure out what happened to his toy! Meanwhile, a gigantic bear is crying because his teddy seems to have shrunk! This fun book works well for the toddler and preschool audience.

Hilarious story about Eddie who lost his teddy and Teddy who lost his bear!

This book has colorful and simple illustrations for little ones. The story is cute. It is about a little boy who loses his teddy in the forest but is confused by finding a gigantic teddy bear that surely can't be his own. It turns out to be the teddy bear of a real bear who in turn is holding the little boy's little teddy. Both boys are reunited with their teddies and run home, scared at seeing each other. It is a simple straight forward story with suspense, but not too frightening. The bear is large, but looks vulnerable. I love the ending. I am confused by the cover illustration. It does not tell very well what this story is about.
Would I recommend this book? Yes. Simple and cute story for the little ones

This book was recommended to me as a classic picture book. It's a lovely story to read aloud. The book has surprise, suspense and a touch of the surreal. Fun for children and adults.
