I am still a Christian after reading this very good book. My intent was to find ways to disagree with this apostate (hahah) and strengthen my faith & I did that....But in an un-anticipated way. Ehrman explains many of the contradictions I've picked up on since childhood - Grist for the faithful - I have to laugh when I hear [smart?] people saying "you better be careful with agnostic's writings" - The point is there were so many competing Christianities prior to Nicaea. I guess it is true - The victors write history - Who'd of thunk?

Reply to rjc34, unfortunately this "must read for all Christians" will be immediately called propaganda and atheist agenda. They will not take it seriously or even consider this with an open-mind
