I have read a lot of WEB Griffin books including a later Clandestine Operations Novel. They are interesting and enjoyable. Griffin (Butterworth etal) writes fascinating books that are fun to read. I don't care if they are drinking whiskey and eating good food. It is not a major portion of the book.

More of the same from this author. Wealthy people travelling from place to place, eating fine meals and drinking expensive whiskey. If the writer truly believes that this the way the Counter Intelligence Corp operated then he needs to devote more time to research.
