Hadley Jamison is shocked when she hears that her classmate, Archer Morales, has committed suicide. She didn't know the quiet, reserved guy that well, but that doesn't stop her from feeling there was something she could have done to help him. Hoping to find some sense of closure, Hadley attends Archer's funeral. There, Hadley is approached by a man who calls himself Death and offers her a deal. If Hadley accepts, she will be sent back twenty-seven days in time to prevent Archer from killing himself. But when Hadley agrees to Death's terms and goes back to right the past, she quickly learns her mission is harder than she ever could have known. Hadley soon discovers Archer's reasons for being alone, and Archer realizes that having someone to confide in isn't as bad as he'd always thought. But when a series of dangerous accidents starts pushing them apart, Hadley must decide whether she is ready to risk everying - including her life - to keep Archer alive.

It was okay for a Y/A book. I probably would have liked it more if I were under twenty. I guess every writer needs to begin somewhere.

I was intrigued from the beginning! I couldn't put the book down once I started it. I love Hadley's and Archer's relationship, it's not your typical romance. It gave me a new perspective on suicides and really made me want to get to know the people around me, 'cause you never know when someone might need a friend or just someone to listen to them.

Absolutely loved this book. It had me hooked the moment I finished the first few pages. The topic of suicide was broached realistically and not romanticized for once. I enjoyed how we saw the effect of Archer's suicide on Hadley and how that not usually thought of perspective was used. It was also quite refreshing to witness a more practical romance blossom rather than the usual lust-filled romance that most books and movies have now-a-days. Overall, 'In 27 Days' is an amazing book which I highly recommend to everyone.

I am ecstatic with how this book was written! Start to finish it had you hooked! The connection between Hadley and Archer and his family throughout the book was beautiful. The way death and havoc entwined into Hadley’s life/mission was insane! I hadn’t expected that ended and overall was amazed and thrilled with the loophole death had made. I really really really enjoyed this novel and it was fast paced, easy to read. It was a beautiful storyline and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
