THE INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER that is a *MUST-READ BOOK* for US WEEKLY, VOGUE, NPR, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, OPRAHMAG.COM, and more!

What happens when America's First Son falls in love with the Prince of Wales?

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius--his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Heads of family, state, and other handlers devise a plan for damage control: staging a truce between the two rivals. What at first begins as a fake, Instragramable friendship grows deeper, and more dangerous, than either Alex or Henry could have imagined. Soon Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret romance with a surprisingly unstuffy Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations and begs the question: Can love save the world after all? Where do we find the courage, and the power, to be the people we are meant to be? And how can we learn to let our true colors shine through? Casey McQuiston's Red, White & Royal Blue proves: true love isn't always diplomatic.

"I took this with me wherever I went and stole every second I had to read! Absorbing, hilarious, tender, sexy--this book had everything I crave. I'm jealous of all the readers out there who still get to experience Red, White & Royal Blue for the first time!" - Christina Lauren, New York Times bestselling author of The Unhoneymooners

" Red, White & Royal Blue is outrageously fun. It is romantic, sexy, witty, and thrilling. I loved every second." - Taylor Jenkins Reid, New York Times bestselling author of Daisy Jones & The Six

I'm not a romance reader, but promised a friend I would give it a go with this one. I loved it! The characters were likable and the story engaging. It did have a few sappy moments that were thankfully pretty brief. It's a perfect summer read when you're looking for a light (but not too light) story.

I'll not become an avid romance reader, but I'll try others now and then as long as they're recommended by my friend. Now - back to my grim psychological/thriller/dystopian faves. :-)

Some books you race through, and others you savor, not wanting to leave the pages just yet. This was the latter. Alex and Henry are an adorable couple, and the world they inhabit feels realistic, but gentler, more hopeful. The story is also peppered with so many droll one-liners and observations that I pretty much had to read aloud any fun bits to whichever unfortunate soul was in the room with me at the time.

Such a fun book. And something that I needed right now. I fell in love with Alex and Henry and love the various ways they communicated.

This book has it all: amazing, witty banter; two absolutely adorable young men just trying to figure out who they are and what love means; sassy supporting characters with fabulous senses of style; some commentary on modern politics (both in the UK and in the US); and probably my most favorite thing... real angst, real talk, real love. READ THIS. I promise, it's so so worth it.

This book is getting a lot of hype, and it is not undeserved. It’s sweet and funny and angsty and hopeful and just a really enjoyable read. Recommend for both adults and teens.

This book was the one I didn't know I needed. It's blanket-and-warm-cuppa-on-a-cold-rainy-day level of comfort for the brain. Am I finished with it? No, I'm only 100 pages in, but I don't want to leave this book. I want to move in and stay forever. The dialogue is fantastic; snappy banter is my favorite - "he has the personality of a cabbage" - and there are plenty of nods to geek culture via pop culture references. The romance is winding up and who can resist a story where the half-Mexican son of the female President of the US falls for the English Prince? This book isn't grimdark, it's the antidote to grimdark. This book is the bubbles in a fresh glass of soda, the pink of gum, sweet and addictive and delicious. I really can't say enough good about it. I bought this book for my keeper shelf. I'm sure you will, too.

What word can I use to express how delightful this book is? Let's settle for [insert expletive here] delightful, because I'm at a loss. It is a testament to how freaking fun and funny and unputdownable this is that I didn't even get grumpy about the few mistakes regarding British titles, which is pretty much the highest compliment I can pay a book. It's the best debut I've read in ages; read it on the beach this summer and fall in love.

This romcom about the First Son of the United States and the spare heir to the British throne falling in love was very cute and VERY extra. It was probably 100 pages too long, but I liked it a lot anyway.
