This was one of my favourite books from childhood. It features the character of Grover from "Sesame Street," who is afraid of the monster at the end of the book. Grover tries to make it so that readers won't turn the page, from rope, to nails, to bricks, but ultimately fails to stop you from turning the page. However, once we reach the end, Grover discovers that there is nothing to fear.
It could be a good conversation starter to discuss the concept of fear, and overcoming fear, with your child, in a fun, safe, and hilarious way.
