This book was so funny and interesting. Though not as good as her other books, this one had several good gags and many instances where you could laugh freely. Also, Jones has a way with the characters that make them come alive and jump off the page. Stashe is very realistic and I could imagine her easily. Aidan's circumstances make him relatable to anybody even if no one has ever seen creatures like the ones he's being stalked by. And Andrew is a good central character who though not completely perfect is stable enough to help everyone amidst his own problems. If you like this one and have already read Howl's Moving Castle, read A Tale of Time City by the same author. That one's really funny and very creative too.
