A good documentary about the biggest battle ever fought on North American soil and the great turning point of the Civil War. Feature film director brothers Ridley and Tony Scott are among the producers of the documentary, which uses reenactors interspersed with historian and expert commentary. The program sheds light on parts of the battle that tend to get overlooked, such as the fight at Culp's Hill, while not paying as much attention to parts that are often highlighted in other sources, such as Little Round Top. It features multiple points of view, both commanders and foot soldiers, and the program's quite graphic, so obviously it's not for everyone.
