This is a well-written, nitty gritty, tell-it-like-it-is book about abortion. It's a valuable book for Christians who want to face the issue with honesty. When it comes to controversial topics, there's no one better than Francine Rivers at dissecting the problem and being fair but uncompromising. For non-Christians, Rivers presents, in "Atonement Child", a side of Christianity they have probably never seen. It's the aspect of Christianity that demands integrity from Christ's followers, in every part of their lives. For a look at child abuse and prostitution, Rivers' "Redeeming Love" is another eye-opener.
